Swansea City's Jonjo Shelvey's fiancee gives birth to baby girl

Jonjo Shelvey announces that his fiancee Daisy Evans has given birth to their baby girl Lola.

Swansea City midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has announced that his fiancee, former S-Club 8 singer Daisy Evans, has given birth to a baby girl.

The 22-year-old, who moved to the Liberty Stadium from Liverpool last year, confirmed the news that daughter Lola Fleur Shelvey arrived on Tuesday morning.

The midfielder wrote on Twitter: "So pleased to say im a dad to the most amazing little girl Lola Fleur Shelvey! So proud of @IamDaisyEvans her and baby doing fine!"

The England Under-21 international also posted a photo of himself cradling his new daughter, with the caption: "Me and my girl!!!"
