British and Irish Lions coach Graham Rowntree has revealed that Chris Robshaw will be one of the first names on the reserve list for the summer tour of Australia.
The England captain was not selected as part of Warren Gatland's 37-man squad on Tuesday, but Rowntree has given the 26-year-old hope of competing.
"He was upset and quite rightly so, he's been exceptional for England. There's going to be injuries and Chris will be one of the first names we turn to. He's desperately unlucky," Rowntree told Sky Sports News.
Jonny Wilkinson has also been tipped to join up with the squad in the latter stages of the tour.
