Stuart Lancaster confident of England victory against Australia

England coach Stuart Lancaster believes that his side will defeat Australia at Twickenham to keep their Rugby World Cup campaign alive.

England coach Stuart Lancaster has revealed that he is 100% confident that his side can defeat Australia to keep their Rugby World Cup campaign alive.

The Red Rose suffered an agonising loss to Wales in their last Pool A match to leave their hopes of reaching the knockout stage in doubt.

However, Lancaster believes that his team can emulate their performance of three years ago when they stunned New Zealand a week after losing to South Africa by defeating the Wallabies.

"I have been in this position before, and so has the team, in getting over a defeat and turning the next performance into a positive one and a victory," Lancaster told reporters.

"I know we can do it again. I'm 100% certain we can."

England take on Australia at Twickenham later today.
