Mark McCall pleased with battling Saracens

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall hails his side's fighting spirit during Saturday's win over London Wasps in the Aviva Premiership.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall has credited his side's fighting spirit for their win over London Wasps in the Aviva Premiership.

Sarries continued their 100% start to the season on Saturday when they claimed a 19-12 victory at Allianz Park.

"Sometimes you've just got to win and dig in," McCall told Premiership Rugby's official website. "In the past we've been comfortable in a lot of the games and today we had to do it differently.

"I'm delighted we rolled up our sleeves and won comfortably in the end - we move onto Europe now."

Saturday's win saw Saracens open up a six-point lead at the top of the Aviva Premiership table.
