Andy Murray: 'Novak Djokovic in a league above me'

Andy Murray admits there is a sizeable difference between him and Novak Djokovic after losing to the Serbian in the final of the Miami Masters.

Andy Murray has conceded that Novak Djokovic is a class above him after losing to the Serbian in the final of the Miami Masters tonight.

The world number one picked up his 51st career title - and fifth in Miami - by beating the Scot 7-6[3] 4-6 6-0 for his seventh successive win over him.

In doing so, Djokovic took his personal record to 18-8 against Murray in the head-to-heads, a stat which the 27-year-old says tells its own story.

"It has been a good start to the year for me so far," he told the crowd. "I'm not quite there where Novak is at, but I feel I am getting there. I just need to keep working hard."

Murray is rated as fourth in the world, also behind Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in second and third respectively.
