Marin Cilic has warned Andy Murray ahead of their quarter-final meeting at the US Open that he can "match up" with any player in the world when fit.
Cilic impressed many pundits with his performance against Martin Klizan in round four, where he eventually ran out a 7-5 6-4 6-0 winner.
Despite acknowledging that he faces a tough opponent in world number four Murray, Croatian Cilic is confident that he can advance through to the final four at Flushing Meadows.
"It's really interesting for me, another big challenge. Andy's obviously playing really well," Cilic told reporters. "When I feel well, I feel I can match up with anybody."
Murray has won six of the last seven meetings between the two players.
