Jonny Brownlee aiming to match brother Alistair in London triathlon

Olympic bronze medallist Jonny Brownlee believes that an injury-free 2015 has given him a chance of defeating brother Alistair in their race in London on Sunday.

Jonny Brownlee believes that Sunday's race in London represents one of his best opportunities to defeat brother and Olympic champion Alistair.

Jonny, the younger of the two siblings, won bronze behind Alistair at London 2012, but after already winning two races this year, he has admitted that he is feeling confident ahead of the World Series event this weekend.

The 25-year-old told BBC Sport: "This year, I've been very fortunate with the way my training's gone, with the fact I've raced early and been able to get those races done.

"Being able to get some more training in now means I've got a very good chance of racing him as an equal. Maybe that will change by the end of the season, but in London, definitely."

While Jonny finished behind Alistair at the Olympics, he did win the World Championships during the same year.
