Team News: Swansea City unchanged for Newcastle United trip

Francesco Guidolin fields an unchanged starting XI as Swansea City travel to Newcastle United this afternoon.

Francesco Guidolin fields an unchanged starting XI as Swansea City travel to Newcastle United this afternoon.

The Italian keeps faith with the formula that earned a 1-0 victory over Chelsea last time out, which saw them reach the 40-point mark.

The hosting Magpies sport five changes from their defeat to Southampton last week.

The injured Steven Taylor and Daryl Janmaat are replaced by Paul Dummett, back from injury, and Jamaal Lascelles in the backline. Further forward, Jonjo Shelvey, Ayoze Perez and Aleksandar Mitrovic are demoted to the bench to make way for Cheick Tiote, Papiss Cisse and the returning Jack Colback, who had missed the last two games through suspension.

Newcastle United: Darlow; Anita, Mbemba, Lascelles, Dummett; Townsend, Tiote, Colback, Sissoko; Wijnaldum; Cisse
Subs: De Jong, Shelvey, Obertan, Aarons, Perez, Woodman, Mitrovic

Swansea City: Fabianski, Rangel, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor, Fer, Cork, Sigurdsson, Montero, Ayew, Paloschi
Subs: Nordfeldt, Naughton, Amat, Britton, Routledge, Barrow, Gomis
