Agent: 'Jonathan Martin wants to play in 2014 season'

Jonathan Martin's agent reveals that the 24-year-old wants to resume his NFL career in the 2014 season following the bullying scandal of 2013.

The agent of Jonathan Martin has revealed that his client wants to play in the NFL again next season.

Martin has not been in action since October when he walked out of the Dolphins' training facility after suffering harassment at the hands of three of his teammates.

However, despite off-the-field problems including the contemplation of suicide, according to an NFL report, the 24-year-old wants to resume his football career.

"He will be on the field in 2014," Kenny Zuckerman told the Palm Beach Post.

"There's no doubt. He wants to, he's ready, he's excited. He'll be somewhere this season."

Martin was drafted 42nd overall by the Dolphins in the 2010 Draft.
