Teddy Bridgewater has been diagnosed with a concussion after taking a hit to the head in the Minnesota Vikings' NFL game against the St Louis Rams.
The quarterback was on the receiving end of a high tackle from LaMarcus Joyner early in the fourth quarter, which appeared to initially knock the second-year passer unconscious.
Bridgewater was eventually able to walk off the field unaided, but was ruled out with a concussion after undergoing tests in the locker room, leaving backup Shaun Hill to play the remainder of the game.
The Vikings face the Oakland Raiders next Sunday.
