The Golden State Warriors will reportedly continue talks with Steve Kerr over their coaching vacancy.
The former Phoenix Suns general manager, who currently works as a commentator for TNT, is reportedly close to agreeing a deal with the New York Knicks, but has also been targeted by the Warriors, who fired Mark Jackson after three years in charge of the side earlier this month.
A source told ESPN that the team had put their negotiations with Kerr on hold over the weekend, believing that he was on the verge of agreeing a deal with the Knicks, but have since re-opened talks.
The 48-year-old spent 15 years as a guard in the NBA before retiring in 2003.
