It is the first time in Wizards' history that the club have won a best-of-seven series 4-0 and game four was the most emphatic of the lot.
Marcin Gortat had 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Bradley Beal was the game's top scorer with 23.
Toronto, who had won the regular-season series 3-0 against Washington, again struggled, with Kyle Lowry, despite encountering foul trouble, leading the visitors with 21.
