Derek McInnes wants Aberdeen fans to make the difference

Derek McInnes calls on the Aberdeen fans to get behind his players in the next few matches.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes believes that the club's fans have an important role to play during their upcoming home fixtures.

The Dons have three of their next four at Pittodrie, which is something that McInnes feels can be used to their advantage.

"We've got three games at home in December and it's important we try and enforce that advantage of being at home," he told the club's official website.

"I think the players really look forward to playing at home this year.

"Hopefully we'll have a decent crowd in to get behind the boys and hope to continue this run."

Aberdeen are fourth in the Scottish Premiership and host St Mirren this weekend.
