Barry Robson signs new Aberdeen deal

Aberdeen midfielder Barry Robson extends his contract with the Scottish Premiership side by a further 12 months.

Barry Robson has agreed a new one-year contract with Aberdeen.

The experienced midfielder's previous deal at Pittodrie had been due to expire at the end of the season.

However, the 36-year-old has now decided to commit himself to the Dons until the summer of 2016.

"I feel as fit as I ever have done and I feel I will have plenty to offer next season. This is an exciting time to be at Aberdeen and I can't wait for the new season to get underway," he told the club's official website.

The former Celtic player has made 25 appearances this term.
