AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino has said that he has no intention of setting a target for the Italian national team before Euro 2012.
Nocerino, who was first called-up to the national team ahead of Euro 2008, admits that he has come far in that time. Meanwhile, he insists that the Azzurri's goal is to do no less than their best and see where that takes them.
"When I joined up with la Nazionale for the first time, it seemed like I was a rabbit caught in the headlights," he said. "But it acted as a further stimulus.
"I do not want to talk about baseline targets. The goal is to do our best. I do not want to talk about other things because I do not know what the maximum we can achieve is."
