Chelsea and AC Milan have reportedly been in talks over a loan move for midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The 23-year-old only joined the Blues from Monaco one year ago, but he regularly found himself criticised for some of his performances.
Although Bakayoko has been involved in Chelsea's pre-season under new head coach Maurizio Sarri, recent reports suggest that the Italian regards his player as surplus to requirements.
With Jorginho joining the Stamford Bridge outfit from Napoli and Mateo Kovacic linked with a loan move from Real Madrid, the France international may slip further down the pecking order.
According to Sky Sports News, discussions between Milan and Chelsea are at an advanced stage, with the Italians eager for a loan move with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Bakayoko made 43 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea last term.
