Arsenal manager Unai Emery has declared that his immediate goal at the Emirates Stadium is to create a "new future" for the club.
Speaking to the media for the first time as Gunners boss, the Spaniard said that he aspires to help his new team become the best in England, and eventually, the world.
"I believe we can grow with the players we have," Emery told reporters. "The objective is to work hard together and with these talented players.
"It's very important for the club, after two years outside the Champions League, to work to be the best team in the Premier League and also in the world."
Emery is Arsenal's first new manager in almost 22 years, having replaced the long-serving Arsene Wenger in the role.
