Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood has said that he was "disgusted" by the club's fans who criticised manager Arsene Wenger last season.
The Gunners have not won a major trophy since 2005 and some fans blamed Wenger for lack of signings and a poor start to the season in 2011-12.
"What those fans shouted did not influence me one little bit," Hill-Wood is quoted as saying in The Sun.
"I was disgusted to hear them because Arsene's been absolutely outstanding. He is still outstanding."
Arsenal have picked up five points from three matches so far in the Premier League this season and have yet to concede a goal.
