Mesut Ozil has encouraged Arsenal players and supporters to stick together following Granit Xhaka's demonstration of anger towards the Emirates faithful on Sunday.
The club captain was met with boos as he left the field during Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Xhaka cupped his ears to the crowd ahead of swearing at them, ripping his shirt off and then storming down the tunnel.
Taking to Instagram after the game, Ozil said: "Big game ahead. No matter what - the only way is standing together as one."
It is claimed that Xkaha is refusing to issue an apology to Arsenal supporters following the incident.
Gunners boss Unai Emery refused to support Xhaka after the game, insisting that he was 'wrong' to act in such a manner - a claim that has reportedly angered the Arsenal dressing room.
