Agent: 'Wilfried Bony staying at Swansea City'

Sports Mole learns that Wilfried Bony will not be leaving Swansea City before tonight's transfer deadline passes.

A source has told Sports Mole this afternoon that Wilfried Bony's agent has confirmed that the Ivorian will not be leaving Swansea City before tonight's 11pm deadline.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs this summer, including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

The Gunners in particular had been credited with a strong interest, particularly after learning that Olivier Giroud will be out of action until next year with a broken leg.

However, the Swansea centre-forward's representative - Dalibor Lacina - has told our source that: "Bony will stay in Swansea."

It has previously been speculated that Bony has a £20m buyout clause in his contract at the Liberty Stadium.
