Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to join Arsenal next summer.
Since joining the German club in 2018, Ndicka has made 162 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists.
With his current contract set to expire at the end of the season, Ndicka looks to be heading towards the exit door.
According to The Mirror, the centre-back has verbally agreed to join Arsenal, although formal talks cannot began until he enters the final six months of his current deal.
While the Gunners are in pole position to sign Ndicka on a free transfer next summer, they could face competition from a number of top European clubs, including Roma.
Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto is believed to be considering a move in the January transfer window in a bid to beat Arsenal to Ndicka's signature.
