Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has allegedly admitted defeat in his attempt to sign Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
The Gunners have had two bids for the forward rejected, and the Frenchman has now thrown in the towel in the race for his signature, according to London Evening Standard chief football correspondent James Olley.
"Yes. Absolutely no chance of that," Wenger reportedly said when asked whether he has called time on his efforts to sign Suarez.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers recently claims that the situation surrounding Suarez has been "resolved" following talks with the player.
Suarez is unavailable for the next five games as he serves the remainder of his 10-game suspension for biting Branislav Ivanovic back in April.
