Arsenal are reportedly preparing another bid for Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz in January.
After being linked with Luiz's signature throughout the summer, the Gunners were believed to have had two offers rejected by Aston Villa on transfer deadline day.
While no transfer materialised, according to The Sun, Arsenal are considering another approach for Luiz when the transfer window reopens in January.
The report indicates that Mikel Arteta is concerned about Thomas Partey's recurring injuries, which could result in Arsenal looking to recruit another midfielder.
While the Gunners were reportedly prepared to pay £23m for Luiz in the summer, their offer is set to drop to £15m due to the player's contract situation.
The Brazilian will have less than six months on his contract when the transfer window opens after refusing all of Villa's attempts to extend his current deal.
