Arsenal are understood to be interested in signing Italian goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.
The 26-year-old, who is owned by both Palermo and Inter Milan, is expected to move on this summer as neither club wants to keep him.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is thought to view the shotstopper as serious competition for current number one Wojciech Szczesny, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Viviano made 20 appearances for Palermo last season as they finished 16th in the Serie A table.
