Arsenal will reportedly offer Liverpool £42.5m for striker Luis Suarez following their rejected £40,000,001m bid.

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to offer Liverpool an increased sum of £42.5m in a bid to sign striker Luis Suarez.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with the controversial Uruguayan, who recently expressed his desire to leave Anfield due to his determination to play Champions League football next season.

While the Reds initially rejected a £40,000,001m offer from the North London outfit, Arsenal are hopeful that they can test Liverpool's resolve with an improved bid, according to The Express.

Reports have claimed that the Merseyside outfit are unwilling to part with the striker for anything less than £50m.
