Arsenal will reportedly make a £10m bid to sign Sunderland keeper Simon Mignolet at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has impressed this season for the Black Cats despite his side's struggles in the Premier League.
Arsene Wenger has sent scouts to watch the Belgian international and has seen and heard enough to launch a move for Mignolet when the current campaign ends, reports The Independent.
Mignolet has been part of a Sunderland backline, which has kept 10 clean sheets this season, the fifth-best record in the top flight.
