Fenerbahce 'eye January Mesut Ozil move'

Fenerbahce will move for Arsenal attacker Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window, according to a report.

Fenerbahce will reportedly move for Arsenal attacker Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window.

Ozil only signed a new deal with Arsenal earlier this year, with the German now contracted to the Gunners until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

The 29-year-old is believed to have a strained relationship with new Arsenal boss Unai Emery, however, which has led to speculation that he could seek a move away from the Emirates Stadium in the winter.

According to Fotomac, Fenerbahce are closely monitoring developments in London and the Turkish giants are lining up a January bid to test Arsenal's resolve.

Ozil moved to the Premier League from Real Madrid in 2013, and has scored 37 times and registered 71 assists in 199 appearances for the capital club.
