Juventus have reportedly made an enquiry for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
The 26-year-old is out of contract at the Emirates this summer and is consequently free to talk to foreign clubs about a potential transfer in the event that he does not agree new terms with the Gunners.
According to The Mirror, Serie A champions Juve have recently been in touch about the possibility of signing him on a free but are "set to be disappointed" as the England international inches nearer to a new deal with Arsene Wenger's side.
The club are thought to have offered the notoriously injury-prone player fresh terms that would see his basic wage cut from £110,000 a week to £90,000, albeit with the possibility of him earning more through bonuses should he remain fit and deliver on the pitch.
Wilshere has been with Arsenal - and playing under Wenger - for his entire career, having joined the club at the age of nine.
