Manchester City are reportedly set to raise £200m from player sales this summer, boosting their chances of acquiring transfer targets.

Manchester City are reportedly aiming to raise £200m from player sales this summer.

With the Citizens looking to strengthen their side in the transfer window, the push for new signings could be aided by selling a number of players.

According to the Daily Mail, the Premier League champions could raise over £200m in the transfer window.

The arrivals of Erling Braut Haaland and Julian Alvarez has led to reports linking Gabriel Jesus with a move away from the club, with Arsenal reportedly leading the race for the forward.

Man City are expected to command a £45m fee for Jesus, while Raheem Sterling may also depart, and selling the England international could bring in £60m.

Southampton are reportedly set to sign goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu, while Pedro Porro has already agreed to sign permanently for Sporting Lisbon, with the deal costing the Portuguese side £7m.

Meanwhile, sales of Yangel Herrera - who spent last season on loan at Espanyol - and Morgan Rogers could raise up to £20m, with the total of potential player sales set to reach £207m.
