A report claims that AC Milan are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez on loan with the view of a permanent deal.

AC Milan have reportedly made contact with Barcelona regarding a loan deal for out-of-favour midfielder Denis Suarez.

The 24-year-old has yet to feature in a single minute in La Liga this term, instead being restricted to a couple of appearances in cup competitions.

Suarez has been linked with a January exit from Camp Nou, with Premier League pair Arsenal and Chelsea both said to be weighing up offers.

Sky Sport Italia claims that Milan have already inquired about the one-cap Spain international's availability, however, with the aim of bringing him on loan from the start of 2019.

The Rossoneri would ideally like the option of a permanent move at the end of the season, it is claimed, but it is unknown whether Barca would accept a deal structured that way.
