Report: Arsenal ready to make £26m bid for Barcelona's Pedro

Arsenal want to bring Barcelona winger Pedro to the Emirates Stadium in the New Year and will offer £26m for his services, according to a report.

Arsenal are reportedly lining up a £26m bid to lure Barcelona winger Pedro to the Emirates Stadium in the New Year.

The 27-year-old has scored six goals for the Catalan giants this season, although he is said to be growing restless having made just six league starts under Luis Enrique so far this season.

It is claimed by The Express that long-time admirers Arsenal could offer the Spain international a route away from the club, where he will link up with former teammate Alexis Sanchez.

Pedro was rumoured to have handed in a transfer request at Camp Nou earlier this year, although in the wake of speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League, he vowed to continue fighting for his place.
