Pedro vows to fight for place

Spanish attacker Pedro vows to regain his spot in the Barcelona attack.

Barcelona forward Pedro has admitted that it is "tough" competing for a spot in the club's attack this season.

The Spanish international lost his place in the XI when Luis Suarez returned from a four-month suspension and it had been speculated that the winger could seek pastures new in January.

However, after scoring in Sunday's 5-1 win over Espanyol, Pedro has vowed to continue working hard in a bid to regain his spot.

"I have to take every opportunity I get," he told Barca TV.

"Competing with [Lionel] Messi, Neymar and Suarez is tough, but what I do is learn from them.

"I try to improve every day and help my teammates as much as I can. I've always had good friends at the club."

Pedro has been linked with a move to the Premier League.
