Report: Liverpool reject Arsenal's bid for Luis Suarez

Liverpool reportedly reject a £30m bid from Arsenal for striker Luis Suarez as they intend to keep him.

Liverpool have rejected Arsenal's £30m bid for striker Luis Suarez, according to a report.

The Gunners made a club record bid for the Uruguayan last week after the forward confirmed that he wants to leave the Reds this summer.

However, their bid was immediately rebuffed by Brendan Rodgers's side as they are determined to keep the 26-year-old at the club, according to The Telegraph.

Arsenal are reportedly considering upping their offer for Suarez but it remains to be seen whether the Reds would sell to a Premier League rival even for a fee in the region of £40m.

Arsene Wenger's team are reportedly close to sealing a move for Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain.
