Arsene Wenger has claimed that Arsenal are not close to signing Malaga midfielder Santi Cazorla.
The Spain international is currently looking for a move away after falling out with his manager over apparent unpaid wages.
The Gunners are one of a number of clubs to have been linked with 27-year old, but when asked about a possible transfer, Wenger responded: "No. We are not close to signing Cazorla. We are still working that out."
Arsenal have already signed attacking duo Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud for a combined fee of more than £20m, but look likely to lose top-scorer Robin van Persie, who has rejected the club's offer of a new contract.
Young duo Thomas Eisfeld and Chuks Aneke were both on the scoresheet as the Gunners beat a Malaysia XI 2-1 this evening.
