Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will reportedly try again to sign Leicester City teenager Ben Chilwell this summer.
The Gunners were in hot pursuit of the 19-year-old left-back in the mid-season transfer window and were thought to have considered a bid of £5m at the time.
According to The Mirror, Wenger views Chilwell as a potential long-term replacement for Kieran Gibbs in the back four and will offer him a weekly wage of £18,000 to tempt him to the Emirates.
The Foxes are said to have offered Chilwell, who also features for the England Under-20s, a new deal but have not offered as high a salary as Arsenal.
Chilwell has not featured for Leicester in the league this season, making just three appearances for the senior side in the cup competitions.
