Danny Welbeck has insisted that he will focus on giving his all for Arsenal in the remaining weeks of the season after boosting his World Cup hopes with a brace in the 3-2 win against Southampton.
The 27-year-old proved the matchwinner in Sunday's clash at the Emirates Stadium to make it four goals in his last five outings in all competitions.
Welbeck is in contention to feature for England in Russia this summer after being included in Gareth Southgate's most recent squad, but the forward is only looking to take things one game at a time, starting with Thursday's meeting with CSKA Moscow.
"The World Cup will take care of itself - I don't pick the team," he told Arsenal's official website. "My mind is set on the next game, doing well in those games.
"Going into the Europa League on Thursday, it's going to be a difficult tie even though we won the home game [4-1]. It's going to be a difficult game so our minds are set on that."
Welbeck has nine goals in 33 appearances this season, 19 of those being starts.
