Jeremy Toulalan happy with AS Monaco mentality

Jeremy Toulalan praises Monaco's mentality after they secure Champions League football by beating Lorient.

Jeremy Toulalan has suggested he is "not ashamed" of AS Monaco's ability to snatch wins after they secured a Champions League place.

Les Rouges et Blanc were made to work for their 1-0 win at Lorient, but managed to edge out Marseille for third spot in Ligue 1.

Despite the slender margin, Toulalan is adamant that Monaco's ability to grind out victories is an important asset.

He told Canal +: "Our whole season was like tonight, snatching wins. We are not ashamed of it. It's the mentality that's important."

Marseille finished fourth in the table after a 3-0 win over Bastia, while Saint-Etienne also triumphed on the final day of the season against Guingamp.
