Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Monaco.
Despite contributing 121 goals from 215 appearances in all competitions, Icardi is out of contention at San Siro, with Inter eager to sell the Argentina international before the end of the summer window.
Juventus and Napoli are both said to be interested in the 26-year-old as they look to make a major addition to their forward line before the start of the new Serie A campaign.
However, according to Rai Sport, Monaco have entered the race for Icardi, indicating that they are willing to spend in the region of £60m.
The report also claims that the Ligue 1 outfit are prepared to hand Icardi a better deal than he would receive if he stayed in Italy.
