Galatasaray are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa striker Mbwana Samatta when the transfer window reopens.
The 27-year-old only joined Villa in January, putting pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Midlands club.
Samatta has since scored two goals in six appearances for Villa, and Turkish newspaper Fotomac reports that Galatasaray are considering a move.
The Turkish outfit were thought to be interested in the Tanzanian before he moved to the Premier League from Genk and are ready to revive their pursuit should Dean Smith's side suffer relegation.
Samatta became the first Tanzanian player to score in the Premier League when he netted against Bournemouth in February, while his other goal came in the EFL Cup final against Manchester City.
