Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has said that his team "need to remain grounded" after making another impressive start to the season.
The capital outfit currently lead the way in Spain's top flight having collected 18 points from their opening eight matches, remaining unbeaten in the process.
Atletico have also won all three of their Champions League group matches this season - including a 1-0 victory over Russian side Rostov in Wednesday night's Group D clash.
Simeone was pleased with the acquisition of another three points, but the Argentine wants his players to keep their feet on the ground as they approach a busy run of fixtures.
"It was a tough game, we know what they were about. We had chances to seal the win but we were not at the races in that sense and that made us anxious," Simeone told reporters.
"Rostov defend with eight men and they close the space down well close to their area. It's not easy to penetrate and create many chances with such a closed defence. We need to remain grounded now more than ever."
Atletico return to league action with a trip to third-placed Sevilla on Sunday afternoon.
