Diego Forlan has insisted he is happy at Atletico Madrid amid interest from Inter Milan.
The Uruguayan forward is being lined up as a possible replacement for Samuel Eto'o, who is expected to join Anzhi Makhachkala.
The 32-year-old still has two years left on his contract at the Vicente Calderon and has indicated he would have no problem seeing out his time in Madrid.
"I have a contract with Atletico and I am happy to be at the club," he told AS. "My plan is be here and try to fulfil the contract, but it's hard to say.
"No one will doubt that Inter are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and the world, but I have a two-year contract and I cannot think of anything else."
Forlan is yet to feature for Atletico in the league this season because of strikes in La Liga.
