Josuha Guilavogui, Toby Alderweireld join Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid complete the deadline-day double signing of French midfielder Josuha Guilavogui and Belgian full-back Toby Alderweireld.

Atletico Madrid have tonight confirmed a double signing on deadline day, capturing both Josuha Guilavogui and Toby Alderweireld just hours before the transfer window closes.

Guilavogui arrived in Madrid for talks over personal terms last weekend, after Atletico agreed a fee with Saint-Etienne for the French international midfielder.

The 22-year-old was courted by a string of clubs across Europe during the close-season, but has today agreed a five-year contract at the Vicente Calderon.

Belgian international full-back Alderweireld was also linked with a whole host of Premier League clubs throughout the summer, but eventually decided to join Diego Simeone's side.

The 24-year-old has left Ajax after five seasons in Holland, signing a four-year deal to ply his trade in La Liga.
