Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has backed Manchester City's Claudio Bravo to bounce back from his high-profile mistake in Wednesday's Champions League clash at Camp Nou.
On his return to Barcelona, Bravo picked up a straight red card in the second period after handling a Luis Suarez effort outside of his own penalty box.
The Premier League side went on to lose 4-0 in the Group C match, but Ter Stegen, who was understudy to Bravo at Barcelona last season, has insisted that the Chilean will come good for Pep Guardiola's team.
"Bravo and I talked about other things, but in the end these are things that happen - that's life for the goalkeeper. This happens sometimes but [in the long term there is] no problems for him or for his team," Ter Stegen told beIN Sport.
"Until the red card we had problems. At first it was a very difficult match, but we were finally able to make a lot of goals. For us it was very good."
Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick for Barcelona before Neymar rounded off the scoring in the latter stages, two minutes after missing from the penalty spot.
