Pep Guardiola has insisted that there has been no deadline imposed on him to sign a new deal with Barcelona.
The coach, whose current contract expires at the end of the season, has so far refused to pen an extension at the Nou Camp.
Although the season ends in May, Guardiola is adamant that he will not be rushed into a decision.
"I don't feel obliged to say yes to my renewal, but I don't want to keep going over it. When there is any news or a decision, you will know. I have not put a deadline on it," he told reporters.
Barca take on Sporting Gijon this evening.
