Antoine Griezmann has reportedly agreed terms on a five-year contract with Barcelona ahead of his proposed move from Atletico Madrid.
The France international last month revealed his intention to leave Atletico during the current transfer window, with Barcelona quickly installed as favourites for his signature due to their long-standing interest in the forward.
Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu poured doubt on the move recently by insisting that the club had never held talks with Griezmann, while the Spanish champions' renewed interest in bringing Neymar back to Camp Nou further complicated a potential deal for Griezmann.
However, L'Equipe reports that Barcelona have now agreed personal terms with the 28-year-old for a five-year contract worth around £15m.
The two clubs are also understood to have opened talks regarding the deal, although Barcelona will wait until Monday before making an official offer as Griezmann's release clause will then drop from £178m to £107m.
The Catalan outfit could still try to lower that figure by including a player in any deal, with Atleti thought to be interested in full-back Nelson Semedo.
