Barcelona have revealed that they have sold Cristian Tello to fellow La Liga side Real Betis.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that Betis were negotiating with Barcelona over the transfer of the 25-year-old, who has spent the last 18 months on loan in Serie A with Fiorentina.
Betis have now won the race to sign the Spaniard on a five-year contract, with Barcelona confirming that they have received an initial £3.5m, but the deal could rise based on various clauses.
"FC Barcelona and Real Betis Balompie have reached an agreement for the transfer of Cristian Tello to the Andalusian side," read a statement on Barcelona's official website.
Tello, who has become Betis's second summer signing after the arrival of Sergio Leon from Osasuna, scored 20 times in 86 appearances for Barcelona between 2011 and 2014, before joining Porto on loan.
