Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has reportedly ruled out sending midfielder Arda Turan on loan until January.
The 28-year-old completed his move to the Catalan giants from Atletico Madrid on Monday for an initial £24.1m fee.
However, due to a transfer ban imposed by FIFA for breaching rules over the signings of underage players, he will not be able to play an official match for Barcelona until January 2016.
There have been numerous reports linking the Turkish international with a loan return to his former club Galatasaray, but according to Football Espana, Enrique wants Turan to remain at Barcelona and get used to life at Camp Nou.
Turan has spent the past four seasons at Atletico, helping the club to win the La Liga title and reach the Champions League final.
