Rafinha tells Barcelona to re-sign brother Thiago

Rafinha urges Barcelona to re-sign his brother Thiago from Bayern Munich in this summer's transfer window.

Rafinha has urged Barcelona to re-sign his brother Thiago in this summer's transfer window.

Thiago represented Barcelona between 2005 and 2013 - making more than 100 appearances for the Spanish club's first team before leaving for Bayern Munich in 2013.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Bayern this summer, and Rafinha has called on Barcelona to bring his older brother back to Camp Nou ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

"I want to see Thiago play for Barcelona again," El Mundo Deportivo quotes Rafinha as saying. "He would fit into the style of play with this team perfectly and he is familiar with many [from the national team and former Barca days]."

Rafinha's own future at Barcelona is in doubt, however, with the midfielder spending the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan.
