Barcelona are reportedly close to signing Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen as a replacement for Victor Valdes, who will leave the Catalan outfit in the summer.
Various attempts have been made to convince Valdes to extend his contract at the Camp Nou, but it is understood that the Spanish champions have now given up hope.
Manchester United's David de Gea, Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois and Celtic's Fraser Forster have all been linked with the position, with the latter impressing in the Scottish side's Champions League clash with Barcelona this season.
However, according to Cadena SER, an agreement has been reached with Ter Stegen, with the 21-year-old understood to be available for as little as £6m.
Ter Stegen has three Germany caps to his name.
