Roma are reportedly considering a move for Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu, who is expected to leave Camp Nou before the end of the month.

Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Roma.

With Barcelona having signed Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool and Ousmane Dembele returning to the first-team squad after injury, Deulofeu is likely to be allowed to leave Camp Nou before the end of January.

AC Milan and Napoli have previously been linked with the Spaniard, who spent the second half of the last campaign on loan at AC.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are prepared to enter the race for the 23-year-old given his return of four goals from 17 outings at San Siro last season.

Barcelona are allegedly looking for a fee in the region of €20m (£17.45m) for the former Everton man, who only returned to the La Liga outfit in the summer.
